Get Ready for the Akers Academy Book Fair!

Cumming, GA - Akers Academy is excited to announce that it will host a Scholastic Book Fair from 13th to 17th November 2023. This exciting event will allow students, teachers, and families to purchase quality books.
Event Details and Offerings
The Scholastic Book Fair will start on 13th November and will continue the whole week. A wonderful selection of engaging and affordable books will be available for purchase.
Teachers will be able to post a wish list outside their classrooms that includes books they would like to add to their classroom libraries. Purchases can be made with checks or credit cards, and families are encouraged to buy books.
Those who cannot attend the on-site event can still shop online at Akers Academy. A percentage of all Book Fair sales go back to Akers Academy to support upcoming learning initiatives and provide new materials for the school's library.
Purpose of Scholastic Book Fair
The Scholastic Book Fair focuses on getting students excited about reading. In addition to increasing home libraries, the fair provides an interactive opportunity for families to experience the joy of reading together.
Frank Akers, President and Owner at Akers Academy said that hosting a Scholastic Book Fair is a great way to put more books in the hands of their students and encourage them to keep reading. He added that the book fair exposes children to a wide variety of age-appropriate topics. Additionally, he expressed his gratitude to the volunteers who are helping make this event possible.
